University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa custodian Marc McClintock has been honored with the President’s Award for Excellence in Buildings and Grounds Maintenance. The award is given to an individual who has exhibited sustained superior performance in a maintenance, landscaping, custodial or trucking position.

McClintock is known for going above and beyond his janitorial duties at the Campus Center Complex, from ensuring buildings all had proper air conditioning, to leading repair projects for the Meetings and Events office and Warrior Recreation Center.
