The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Athletics Department has begun a new YouTube segment called ‘Bows Kitchen, to help Hawaiʻi make their favorite local dishes from home. On the menu for its first episode—crispy chicken katsu, taught by UH Mānoa men’s golf coach Ronn Miyashiro from his backyard.
“Some people don’t like to [make chicken katsu] because they think it’s hard, but I want to show you that it’s not very hard at all,” said Miyashiro in his video. “It’s something everyone can make from home.”
