Anxiety during the COVID-19 pandemic can be extremely overwhelming for individuals who already cope with mental health issues.

Psychologist Alex Khaddouma from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Counseling and Student Development Center (CSDC) explains how mental health challenges can be more complex and intense. CSDC has adjusted how they provide services during the outbreak and is set up for urgent individual walk-in appointments (with adjustments to accommodate social distancing) or telephone crisis consultations.
