Kapiʻolani Community College‘s Office of Student Activities and Board of Student Activities is hosting a League of Legends (LOL) Tournament on Monday, March 23 starting at noon. The tournament is open to all college students across the state. LOL is a popular highly competitive, fast-paced action-strategy online game.

Students can play in the comfort and safety of their own homes or rooms. The only requirements are Wi-Fi access and a computer capable of playing games.

Students can register for the LOL tournament and join the Discord server. Teams will be created and there will be five players per team. If there is an uneven amount of players then the latest players to register may be unable to play.

Brandon Chia Wei Lau, Kapiʻolani CC Office of Student Affairs student assistant, said, “I wanted to make this event because I feel that even with a pandemic going on and self-quarantine being a norm now, I feel like there is still room to connect with each other, and what better way to do that, than play some video games!”

If you have any questions, please email osa@hawaii.edu or @osa in the Discord server.

Have fun and stay healthy!
