University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Athletics Department head coaches are showing support via Twitter to thank or reach out to anyone in need during the COVID-19 health crisis.
Michele Nagamine, women’s soccer head coach, posted a message from her team captain offering to run errands for anyone at risk of contracting COVID-19. Nagamine, also known as ‘Coach Bud,’ used hashtags #raisedright, #thereshope and #proudcoach.

“Hi Coach Bud! Laura Beeman posted three messages thanking Duke’s Waikiki and Side Street Inn for their support of the women’s basketball program and Hawaiʻi Athletics. The women’s basketball head coach used the hashtag #alohacantbestopped.
