Aloha UH Community,
Please be assured that the University of Hawaiʻi continues to take the COVID-19 outbreak very seriously. Officials are closely monitoring conditions on our 10 campuses and are in daily, direct communication with government health officials.
Campus operations continue to function as normal, in accordance with guidance from health officials. In the event updated guidance is issued, the campuses are prepared to respond accordingly.
Officials on every campus are also closely monitoring their cleaning and bathroom supplies. We want to ensure resources are available when needed.
While custodial staff have stepped up cleaning efforts, the single best line of defense against infection and illness is responsible personal hygiene. To protect yourself and those around you, please remember to wash your hands often with soap and water or sanitizer for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your face and stay home if you are sick.
The email updates on COVID-19 will continue and you can stay informed through our UH COVID-19 web page, which has links to key information resources from the Hawaiʻi Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. If you have any questions, you can email: covid19@hawaii.edu.
Thank you,
University of Hawaiʻi
