90 University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo student-athletes have earned Pacific West Conference Scholar Athlete honors.
To qualify, the student-athlete must have a 3.0 accumulative grade point average or better, have competed at least two semesters at the school, and played on the team this past year.
The 90 UH Hilo scholar student-athletes is a record number for the school. The Vulcans had a total of 189 student-athletes compete last fall, meaning close to half of them had 3.0 GPAs or better.
