A new, easy tuition and fees Installment Payment Plan is available for University of Hawaiʻi students for fall 2019.
The Installment Payment Plan is intended to help student manage tuition and fee payments for fall and spring terms.
The plan has four fixed installment payment due dates and a $30 non-refundable enrollment fee.
Tuition and fees payment due dates
Fall semester tuition and fees for students registering April 15 to August 15, 2019 must be paid in full or they must enroll in the new UH Installment Payment Plan by Thursday, August 15, 4 p.m. Hawaiʻi Standard Time (HST).
If FULL payment or enrollment in the UH Installment Payment Plan is not posted to the student’s account by the August 15, 4 p.m. (HST) due date, registration will be canceled, and the student will be disenrolled from all his or her courses. Students with current term installment plans will not be disenrolled from their courses.
Students awarded financial aid for fall 2019 may disregard the August 15 due date; however, payment of any balance due or enrollment in a payment plan must be completed by September 3 at 4 p.m. to avoid outstanding account issues. For more information, contact the individual campus financial aid offices.
Students who do not plan to attend in the fall semester should log into STAR and drop their classes to ensure that they are not charged.
Payment options
Full payment can be made online with MasterCard, VISA or any credit card accepted by the Discover Network such as Discover, Diners, and JCB, pinless debit card or web check (checking or savings account) or sign up for the Installment Payment Plan online.
