Kiarra Lincoln

Two Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi alums have been named the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Pepsi Athletes of the Week.

Kiarra Lincoln

Sophomore shortstop Lincoln had a busy and productive seven days while on the road in California. During a week that included four games against Concordia, and five games at the tournament of champions, Lincoln raised her average 23 points (.313) and played a huge role in UH Hilo’s series-opening win over the Eagles. She was 11 for 32 for the week, and leads the Vulcans in runs scored, RBI, is tied for the home run lead and is second in stolen bases.

Brandyn Lee-Lehano

Pitcher Lee-Lehano played a huge role in three of the four Vulcan wins against Academy of Art University. The junior pitched a total of nine innings, gave up two earned runs, scattered nine hits and struck out eight players to help UH Hilo get the series sweep. He earned a save in the third game of the series, pitching three productive innings to close out the game—without allowing a run and also fanning five.
