Two basketball standouts claim this week’s University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Pepsi Athletes of the Week award.

Graves had two big games to wrap up an outstanding junior season. He had a double-double of 10 points and 10 assists during a 68–59 win over Notre Dame de Namur, and followed up with a warrior effort in the final game of the year. In a 82–80 heartbreaking loss to Chaminade, Graves had 15 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds and 4 steals. He ended the year placing second in the PacWest with 60 steals and placed sixth with 106 assists.

Allie Navarette

Navarette earned her seventh Pepsi Athlete of the Week award for the season. She had 31 points and 12 rebounds in her final game, giving Navarette 17 doubles-doubles for the year. She broke seven UH Hilo single-season marks with 516 points, a scoring average of 19.8, with 263 rebounds, 170 free throws, 214 free throw attempts, 162 field goals and 410 field goal attempts.
