The JTB Goodwill Foundation donated $35,000 to the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa School of Travel Industry Management to establish a new scholarship. The money will help students looking to earn a degree in tourism and hospitality.
The JTB Goodwill Foundation made the donation in recognition of Gannenmono, the 150th anniversary of Japanese immigration to Hawaiʻi this year. UH Foundation will manage the donation.
