On September 12, nearly 50 University of Hawaiʻi alumni and friends in the New York area gathered for a pau hana event at the historic Explorers Club in Central Park. Guests had an opportunity to connect with other alumni and friends in the area as well as meet UH Mānoa faculty and leadership.

As part of the event, UH Mānoa Professor of Geology Michael Garcia gave a special presentation on the recent volcanic eruption and history of Kīlauea Volcano.

On September 15, nearly 370 alumni, friends and Rainbow Warrior fans gathered at West Point to cheer on the Warriors as they took on the Army Black Knights. Though the Army Black Knights took the win, Hawaiʻi fans enjoyed a riveting game that ended with a score of 28-21.
