The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa starts the fall semester off with great food, live music, prizes, giveaways and more at the 2nd annual Welina Mānoa. The free event is held on Monday, August 20, 3:30—6 p.m.
Welina Mānoa, which means welcome from Mānoa or welcome to Mānoa, features the Tuahine Serenaders, UH Mānoa pep band and cheerleaders and various activities. Students can win a flat-screen HD TV, Oakley sunglasses, a Star Wars iHome portable speaker, gift cards from Amazon, Mānoa Dining Services and Subway and more.
Held throughout Campus Center, Kuykendall Lawn and Legacy Pathway, Welina Mānoa invites the entire campus to join in the fun and welcome new students to the UH Mānoa ʻohana. The event will feature a one–stop–shop resource fair highlighting more than 115 student groups, student services, academic departments, community partners and businesses.
