It’s the happiest time of the year—commencement! What better way for University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa graduates to celebrate than share mahalo messages on their big day.

A fast-paced video montage conveys the personal aloha of almost 80 students, who thank classmates, professors, family members and friends, as they achieve the monumental milestone of earning a university degree. There are multicultural shout-outs, joyous turnings of the tassels and throwing of mortarboards, and some sharp dance moves, too.

The messages were filmed and edited by the student-run UH Productions, and will run continuously on the Stan Sheriff Jumbotron before the 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 12.
