An Inconvenient Sequel film poster

A decade after An Inconvenient Truth raised public awareness about the climate crisis, comes the powerful follow-up that shows just how close we are to a real energy revolution. The University of Hawaii at Hilo and Leeward Community College are participating in a nationwide screening of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power on October 26. The film will be shown at more than 100 sites nationwide followed by a live 30-minute webcast with former Vice President Al Gore.

About An Inconvenient Sequel

An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power follows Gore as he continues his tireless fight, traveling around the world training an army of climate champions and influencing international climate policy. Go behind the scenes, as he pursues the empowering notion that while the stakes have never been higher, the perils of climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion.

Renowned filmmakers Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk have taken the baton from 2006 Academy Award-winner Davis Guggenheim. What started then as a profound slide show lecture has become a cinematic excursion.
