“Unite and move forward as one.” That is the vision driving Pūpūkāhi I Holomua, an elite philanthropic society for University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Athletics that supports student-athletes’ success and ability to achieve their ambitious academic and athletic goals.
The driving force behind this new society is an energetic team that includes donors Kent Youel, Eric Fujimoto an advisory with the Hoʻea Wealth Advisory Group, and Ryan Tanaka, president of Waterhouse Inc.
“UH is our only state university. Its athletic achievements bring a great sense of pride to everyone in Hawaiʻi,” said Youel. “Direct support by fans, boosters and local businesses is essential to keeping us competitive, and I am proud to help in this effort.”
