This fun, fast-paced video montage features University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa graduates sending special mahalo messages to their families and friends for helping them achieve their monumental milestone of earning a degree. Among the more than 40 recordings are messages from a mother and son earning their education and engineering master’s degrees, sisters earning their bachelor’s degrees in marketing and travel industry management and a 60-year-old non-traditional student earning her bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship.
The messages, which were filmed and edited by the student-run UH Productions, will run continuously on the Jumbotron at the Stan Sheriff Center on May 13 before the 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. commencement ceremonies.
