Celebrate spring at University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s Lyon Arboretum Spring Plant Sale on April 8, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. at the arboretum. Admission is free.

Various nurseries will be selling colorful ti varieties, Hawaiian plants including native ferns, fruit trees, anthuriums, orchids, heliconias, gingers, succulents, tillandsias and other bromeliads, carnivorous plants, herbs, vegetables and many other plants for homes and gardens.

Arboretum volunteers will sell jams and jellies made from local fruits as well as oshibana crafts, dried spring wreaths, lei (including haku lei) and leaf angels. Hawaiian honey also will be available for purchase.

A free shuttle service to the arboretum has pick-up and drop-off points at the intersections of Poʻelua Street and Mānoa Road, and Nipo Street and Mānoa Road.
