The new Culinary Institute of the Pacific hosted its first event on March 2, celebrating the opening of Phase I. The event was held to thank donors, special partners and elected officials for their support and give them a tour of the new facility.
Located on the slopes of Diamond Head, the Institute of the Pacific offers the only four-year, baccalaureate culinary degree in Hawaiʻi. The first phase of the Kapiʻolani Community College project includes four single-story buildings, outdoor cooking area, landscaping, the first of two parking lots and the off-site utility infrastructure (electrical, water, sewer, gas).
