University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa undergraduate students from all fields of study will present their faculty-supervised research projects and creative works at the Undergraduate Showcase on Friday, December 9, 2016. This free event will feature 40 presentations and posters by 50 undergraduate students in the disciplines of arts and humanities, engineering and computer sciences, natural sciences and social sciences.
Presentations include:
- Death Camp Commanders: Administrators of Hitler’s Final Solution
- Conversion of Food Waste to Renewable Biogas and Nutrient-Rich Bioslurry
- Translating Oral Traditions into a Modern Immersive, Interactive Virtual Reality Experience
- Understanding the Community Food Movement on Oʻahu’s North Shore
The morning will begin at Sakamaki Hall, with registration at 8:45 a.m. and the first oral session at 9:35 a.m. The event will shift to the Campus Center Ballroom, with the poster session at 11:45 a.m. and complimentary lunch at 12:30 p.m.
The Undergraduate Showcase, sponsored by the UH Mānoa Office of Undergraduate Education, highlights the outstanding research and creative work produced by talented undergraduate students across campus at the end of each fall and spring semester.
