
Mykie Ozoa survived an almost four-year abusive relationship while she was an undergraduate student at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She is now in her third year at the William S. Richardson School of Law. In October, she shared her story at a ceremony celebrating a new partnership between the University of Hawaiʻi’s Office of Institutional Equity, the Hawaiʻi State Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Domestic Violence Action Center.
