The Kāneʻohe Community College Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Program will be hosting the 6th Annual STEM EXPO Opportunity Event on Thursday, November 19, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at Kokiʻo Building Mall.

This event will promote career, degree, service and internship opportunities that are available to students who are interested in STEM careers and related fields. The purpose of the event is to connect Kāneʻohe CC students to STEM prospects, strengthen student success and enhance STEM fields with future employees.

This year’s expo will feature approximately 20 agencies, some will come from private industry like the Hawaiʻi Conservation Alliance, Kupu Hawaiʻi and HI Capacity, as well as programs from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources, College of Engineering and School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology.

The National Security Agency and the Military and Veterans Program will also be at the expo. Many units and programs at the Kāneʻohe CC will also provide information.
