The UH Mānoa team was the 2014 Aloha United Way softball champions.

In support of the 2015 Aloha United Way (AUW) Oʻahu Campaign, the University of Hawaiʻi will hold the 9th UH Charity Softball Tournament benefiting AUW on Friday, October 9, 2015 starting at 5 p.m. at UH Mānoa’s Les Murakami Stadium.

Teams from the six UH Oʻahu campuses—UH Mānoa, UH West Oʻahu, Honolulu Community College, Kapiʻolani Community College, Leeward Community College and Windward Community College along with University of Hawaiʻi System—will compete in the double elimination tournament for bragging rights and the coveted tournament trophy.

The softball team whose campus/system has the highest percentage of contributors to AUW by noon, Wednesday, October 7, will win a “bye” in the first round of play. The second and third highest percentage of contributors will win a two-run and one-run advantage, respectively, in one of their teams’ first two games. The winner of last year’s competition was Leeward Community College.

Come and support your favorite team. There will be door prizes and Sodexo food service will be available.

Visit the UH Charity Softball Tournament website for more information.
