Students in Hawaiʻi Music Institute classes at Windward Community College will perform in a weeklong series of spring concerts at Palikū Theatre. Special musical guests will join students in some of the concerts.
Piano Program Concert
Tuesday, May 5, 7 p.m.

Hawaiian Music Night
Thursday, May 7, 7 p.m.
Solo and ensemble performances by students from Professor Ron Loo’s Kī Hoʻalu (slack key) guitar class and Kaʻala Carmack’s voice class. Special appearance by students from the Introduction to Hawaiian Music class taught by Kaʻala Carmack and assisted by Teresa Bright playing indigneous Hawaiian instruments while singing with Windward CC choir and voice students.
An Evening of Solo Voice and Choral Music
Friday, May 8, 7 p.m.
Music performed by vocal students of Kaʻala Carmack. An eclectic program of various styles from Elizabethan music through popular and from folk songs to Broadway.
