Windward Community College presents a week of holiday concerts featuring students and special musical guests. The free performances are held at Palikū Theatre and open to the public.
Windward CC Piano Concert
Tuesday, December 9, 7 p.m.
Under the direction of So Jin Kimura, piano students from the Windward CC piano program will perform solos, duets, trios and quartets of favorite holiday classics.
Hanauna Mele Concert Series
Wednesday, December 10, 7 p.m.
Under the direction of Kamuela Kimokeo, this series will feature slack key and ʻukulele students from Windward CC and UH West Oʻahu. Special guest artists include Jon Osorio, Teresa Bright and Jerry Santos. For more information call (8008) 236-9145.
Nā Leo Nani o Kaiāulu: Vocal Music at Windward CC
Thursday, December 11, 7 p.m.
Under the direction of Kaʻala Carmack, this performance will feature student soloists, the Windward CC Choir, slack key guitar students under Ron Loo and hula kahiko students under the direction of Sky Gora.
Showcase of Music
Friday, December 12, 7 p.m.
This final performance will feature select students and faculty from all Windward CC music programs—piano, voice, choir, slack key, ʻukulele and hula.
