The Kuaʻana Tuition Waiver is a financial need-based waiver for Native Hawaiian students enrolled at UH Mānoa campus only. To be eligible for the 2023-2024 Kuaʻana Tuition Waiver, you must meet the following requirements:

*Hawaiian Ancestry.
*Show financial need on your COMPLETED 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
*Have an Undergraduate or High School cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher or Graduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
*Undergraduate students must be enrolled full-time with 12 or more credits at UH Mānoa campus ONLY. Graduate students enrolled full-time with 8 or more credits at UH Mānoa campus ONLY.

-Students receiving a Graduate or Employee Tuition Waiver may not be eligible for Kuaʻana Tuition Waiver.

-Students enrolled in the following UH Mānoa programs may not be eligible for the Kua’ana Tuition Waiver:
1) Executive MBA
2) Distance Learning Executive MBA
3) Master of Human Resource Management
4) Vietnam Executive MBA
5) Master of Science in Finance
6) Master of Science in Marketing Management
7) Master of Science in Information Systems
8) Master of Travel Industry Management
