On May 24, President Trump issued a proclamation suspending the U.S. entry of visitors who have been in Brazil within 14 days of attempted entry. Like other travel bans issued earlier this year, the proclamation exempts U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents and their immediate family members. This will take effect at 11:59 PM eastern daylight time on Friday, May 28, 2020, and will remain in effect until otherwise declared otherwise.
