Optional Practical Training Q&A Sessions

For those interested in Optional Practical Training (OPT), ISS will be hosting two Q&A sessions to help you understand what OPT is (including STEM Extension), basic timelines and strategies for applying, and special OPT situations. This may be most helpful for students who are graduating this spring, but is open to all.

Please review the OPT information on our website before you come so you have a basic understanding of the authorization and application process. These sessions will not have any formal presentations and will not cover information that is already available online, but hope to answer frequently asked questions to better prepare you for OPT. The same material will be covered at both sessions, so you need not attend both.
