Student Request Deadlines and Limited Advising
Monday, December 9, 2024 – Deadline to submit any requests (OPT, CPT, RCL, Program Extension, Academic Training) for processing before Friday, December 20, 2024. Expect delays for any requests made after December 9, 2024.
Monday, December 16, 2024 – Monday January 13, 2025 – Limited Advising Services
Travel Signatures
Students re-entering the U.S. on F or J status are required to have a valid travel signature. See ISS Travel Signature for more information and to request for travel authorization from the ISS.
Post-Completion Work reminders
If completing your program in Fall 2024 and you would like to remain in the U.S. to work in your field of study, F-1 and J-1 students must follow different procedures:
- F-1 students: See the ISS Manoa OPT guide for information on requirements and processes. Make an appointment with an ISS advisor if you have any questions.
- J-1 students: Schedule an appointment with an ISS advisor to discuss academic training procedures at least 4 weeks before program end date. See J-1 Academic Training information located in the J-1 Student Employment Additional Forms section of the ISS Forms page.
