The smallest of the two-year public Community Colleges of the University of Hawaii system focusing on Liberal Arts and Trade education for approximately 1500 students. Thirty-three (33) percent of the students enrolled self-identify as Native Hawaiian or Part Hawaiian representing the largest ethnic group on campus.
The college offers agriculture courses and certificates for the students and community. We also offer hands-on place-based education through cultivation and research of Breadfruit in Ulutopia.

"While in the program there were so many field trips where students were able to hike to the native plants we learned about in class. There were also so many opportunities given by Mr. Yamamoto where we were able to propagate plants through seed and cutting, and I was even able to do an internship project micropropagating orchids."
