Maribel Bertulfo holds a Bachelors of Arts in Philippine Language and Literature (Filipino) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
She also completed her Bachelors degree with a distinction of cum laude. She also holds an Associate degree in Teaching where she
was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Maribel takes pride in being a Filipino and has developed curriculum materials which incorporates the Filipino cultures while learning the language. Her dream is to motivate, inspire, and impact people's lives through her teaching and to provide a fun, safe, and familial learning environment which engages and empowers students to reach their highest potential.
At UH Manoa, she teaches Philippine Travelouge, Intermediate Filipino, and Filipino Translation Techniques.
