Every college has a variety of financial aid sources available to help you pay for college. Each college has their own Financial Aid Office that assists students with their educational expenses through federal, state, institution, and private financial aid resources.
Even within the University of Hawaiʻi (UH) system, each of the 10 campuses has their own financial aid office. When you apply to UH, you are choosing one of these 10 campuses as your “home campus.”

Only these 7 UH campuses offer ECE credentialing programs:
- Kauaʻi Community College
- University of Hawaiʻi West Oʻahu
- University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa
- Honolulu Community College
- University of Hawaiʻi Maui College
- University of Hawaiʻi Hilo
- Hawaiʻi Community College
Be sure to visit the Financial Aid Office at your home campus as things are slightly different from campus to campus.

Taking Courses Cross-Campuses
Plan ahead so your financial aid is not negatively impacted!
Part-time students taking courses at Kauaʻi Community College, Hawaiʻi Community College, Honolulu Community College or UH Maui College: ECE coursework is aligned across these four colleges, which makes it very easy and convenient for students to take courses cross-campus and find courses that fit their schedules!
If you are receiving any kind of financial aid, however, be sure you get in touch with the Financial Aid Office at your home campus to see how your course schedule at another campus will impact your financial aid package. You *may* lose financial aid if you are not enrolled in any courses at your home campus.
If youʻre not sure what is your home campus, ask your instructors or academic counselors for help!
