Manawa Kūpono: Native Hawaiian Scholarship

ABOUT MANAWA KŪPONO

Manawa Kūpono promotes college readiness, access, and success for at-risk Native Hawaiian students. Manawa Kūpono provides intensive and individualized services related to enrolling and succeeding in college.

The Manawa Kūpono Native Hawaiian Scholarship Program is an initiative administered through the College Opportunities Programs at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. We strive to support the goals of Kānaka ʻŌiwi at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, by providing cultural enrichment activities that strengthen Native Hawaiian identity. Manawa Kūpono offers academic advising and tuition assistance that aid in the advancement of Native Hawaiians in higher education. These components will build leadership, college readiness and balance amongst our Native Hawaiian student community.
