Biography: Dr. Blanca Polo, a seasoned information and computer science professional, transitioned from a career as a test engineer at Adtech to a dedicated professor at Leeward Community College (LCC) in Hawaii. With expertise in programming, networking, human-computer interaction, and mobile applications design and development, she not only imparts knowledge in the classroom but has also been a familiar face on cable TV across the state of Hawaii, teaching programming and networking courses. Having earned her PhD through the CIS program in 2013, Dr. Polo brings a wealth of academic achievement to her role. As a full professor at LCC, she inspires and enriches minds, leaving an indelible mark on her students and the broader educational community with her commitment to excellence in information and computer science education.
