4.   What did you find most valuable and helpful about the instructor?
He allowed us to work hands on and guided us effectively when necessary.
flexible
Knew what they were doing and was able to give reasonable answers when asked for help.
The instructor was helpful when we ran into problems. He would sit down with us and be willing to troubleshoot.
Great feedback on difficult questions.
Always available for questioning.
He came to class on time and helped with any problems during the ongoing project.
The Discord server made it easy to ask questions and communicate with teammates.
He would show up to lecture which was nice
He was often available for questions.
Going through the problems with the students to get a better understanding on how to help the students and gave us a better grasp on how to approach our project.
He was able to provide us with adequate examples
I think he gave us helpful information when we needed it, and a lot of help getting started with the project.
The instructor was open to comments and questions.
Great Assistance and would like to help anyone who ask for
He is very helpful in assisting with understanding the code of what we need to do
Intereting
He would answer questions on discord within a day.

5.   What did you find least valuable and helpful about the instructor?
None.
didn't help much
The professor ran the gradebook in a very generous way. He let people pass even though they did not do anything for the milestones.
Guidance is given only when specifically asked.
Very hands-off if you don't ask questions.
Nothing.
Late replies (sometimes) on Discord.
He would often not respond to questions in our questions channel on discord and you would have to message him directly to get a timely answer.
I did not learn a lot from the teacher.
There wasn't much that I found unvaluable from the instructor. The only problem is if there was a major problem with a group or a person in a group (i.e. consistently absent student) there wasn't much information for the group on if we were to expect to work with that student or not..
None
Nothing, though we primarily worked independently when we needed help he was there, and he also provided us with a good work environment each week.
N/A
nope
Least helpful thing is lack of announcements and such on discord
Good
You get thrown into a massive project with 0 leads and a vague guess on what the client wants In the eyes of the professor, this is great because you get to experience the real world and normally it is confusing like this But this is a classroom You throw students a vague question and you'll get a vague answer As a result I learned basically nothing ICS 432 does this concept well by doing 50/50 Team/Individual assignments with questions that guide you to realizations ICS 414 is the worst class I've ever taken. Feels like it's $1300 down the drain just for credits

8.   Which aspect of the course were most valuable?
Learning ReactJs + Javascript + MongoDb + working with a team
real world practice and application
Learning how to work in a group on a project meant for a client.
I felt that the course was very independant. I feel like this was one of the pros of the course.
Real development as a team.
Working with a group and creating a website.
An actual project that required actual thought and actual customer interactions. Group members was the most valuable as well.
The experience of working with a real customer.
Practicing using git and github and intellij
The project.
Allowing the students to grow with each other to take control over the project and work as a team.
Mentor and client feedback
I think the cooperativeness of the course and experience were the most valuable. I now have two experiences developing a site with a group, and experience working on real-world issues.
This course helped me to develop the skill of how to work as a team.
Team Work adn Group Project
Being able to work together on a real project

9.   Which aspect of the course were least valuable?
Learning MeteorJs
self learning, no help
I did not appreciate having people in my group who did not contribute. There should be something to catch this and award grades accordingly.
Not much interactivity with instructor.
The way he graded based on Github commits, some people in groups were committing code and then deleting it and committing it again to get their commit numbers up. It promoted being lazy instead of having meaningful commits.
The project not being a realistic application only a prototype that will be used as a model later on.
I feel like I didn't learn anything new in this course.
Having such large teams made it hard to enforce equally shared work
The classes.
Certain things taught for the group project work, ended up not having much use towards the later end of the project where it should have been more impactful throughout the entirety of the project.

10.   Other comments?
I think that in the future the course needs to be graded on agreed lines of code committed or number of commits by a team, some sort of quantifying method so that members in the class don't feel as though the course was an easy A if they put in no effort. It ended up not being an enjoying experience to people who wanted to create a well rounded product in the end.
Would have been better if the first couple weeks of the semester were used to do Bootstrap exercises. Would have cleared a lot of confusion and back logs that all teams went through since a majority were inexperienced with Bootstrap. It wouldn't even create a time conflict with the project development since it took all of the semester.
