14.   What changes would you make in the lectures?
Maybe have a mini quiz, make sure students are actually paying attention.
Maybe record them.
I wish there were recordings of the lectures to be able to go back to. It can be helpful when I am stuck on homework and studying for tests.
The notes/slides that go with the lecture could use a little more context in order to help aid in keeping people on the same page.
Posting slides about the lecture's content and the drawings created during the lecture would be best for reviewing material.
Nothing I can think of.

15.   Which aspects of the course were most valuable?
Everything about the material. The time analysis.
The content.
Nodari was very educated on the topic.
The amount of thinking one was presented with when approaching these algorithms and concepts.
The professor's response time and clear explanations of algorithms.
Knowledge of how to break down larger problems into smaller parts, and learning about useful algorithms, while combining them to solve common programming problems.

16.   Which aspects of the course were least valuable?
I can't seem to think of anything, everything seemed to be of value.
N/A
The stress :(
Only having access to the professor's lecture drawings.
Nothing I can think of.

17.   What advice would you give to students, who might be taking this course in the future?
Read the book before lecture, even if you don't understand it then just skim through it. As long as you keep up with the lectures and the book, the homework isn't bad at all.
Pay attention in class, and participate. Also, make sure you do your homework early so you can ask questions if you do not understand it.
Only take this class if you got an A on ICS 311. The topics are very difficult and abstract.
To start, this course will be hard. If you truly hate algorithms and want nothing to do with inductive hypothesis and proof of correctness, then this course is no good for you. The bulk of the class is just writing algorithms then proving its correctness, then analyzing the runtime. If you still do want to continue with this course, it is important to understand the concepts presented in the course, and how the presented algorithms accomplish their tasks. The final piece of advice I'll give is to take advantage of the office hours provided. The teacher and TA are willing to help, and can help guide you in the right direction. Don't be afraid of the office hours, save yourself the extra suffering.
You need to start homework assignments as soon as they are posted.
When a new assignment is released, you should a look at it right away and do the problems you understand, and then read the harder problems carefully. I came up with solutions I struggled with when I was doing other things, like running or watching a movie. Start early!

18.   Other comments:
Very good teacher. Responds to emails and is available to help during office hours. The lectures always make me feel like I'm learning new concepts compared to other classes where I'm not.
Very good class overall It gave me some headaches, but is was worth it :)
