2.   My overall evaluation of this course is...
There was a lot of difficult information learned that was not taught in high school history. I appreciated learning American history more in depth.
I really enjoyed the historical events that we learned in this class, despite it not being the most positive events in history. It was nice to learn about history after the Emancipation and seeing the U.S. evolve to what we are now.
The first day of class for me was a little lost since I'm a first year. But, the overall semester was really interesting and fun especially doing a presentation on something so interesting. This class was an oral communication class which talking was important, taking this class has boost up my comfort zone, presentation wise. Also, learn to multitask as a college student and part-time worker.
I enjoyed this course and would recommend it to others. I learned so much I never knew, I am truly glad and thankful for taking this course.
I really enjoyed it, it was extremely informative and I learned a lot from the work we did within the class.
it was great!

3.   If this course was taken to fulfill course requirements for your concentration/major, how did this course enhance your personal and/or professional development in your concentration/major?
N/a
This provided me with further information about U.S. It connected prior the emancipation and then after. It also allowed me to make a connection to how our current country has gotten to where we are now.
This was an oral commuication class, which this taught me voicing my thoughts and not be affraid of being wrong.
My plan is to teach elementary students. I don't know how I would incorporate history to little kids, but I'm sure I could figure it out.
My major is Humanities-History. This course went into depth when it came to American history while also talking about the importance of humanity we should have for one another.
This course helped me to improve my my oral communications skills .

6.   Please comment on the activities or resources that could be added to this course to improve your learning.
Nothing all the information provided was helpful to the material being learned.
The small/large group discussions could've been changed or done differently. For homework, we have to read the chapters in our textbook. We come to class, take the quiz, and then read aloud the chapter that we had to read for homework. It just seems redundant to me and that I'm wasting my class time redoing the homework assignment that I already did. Maybe having a different way to review the quizzes and utilizing our class time doing other things than reading aloud the chapter.
I can't think of any, the course was great and well organized.
None, maybe make give the quizzes an extra 5 minutes to complete.

17.   Please list your suggestions for improving the course and/or the instructor's teaching style and methods.
No improvements that I can think of.
Not doing read aloud of the chapter during class since we've already read the chapter for homework.
A little more time on the quiz. I struggle with reading fast and comprehending it, so 15 minutes were good but stressful, that's all, but thank you for a great semester.
- 20 minute quizes -Maybe make the quizzes open notebook.
none

18.   My overall evaluation of this instructor is....
She was a great instructor, and she addressed complex information often. Sometimes she laughed, which I'm not sure was a nervous thing or not, but that was slightly offputting. I would recommend her classes to others because she was overall a good instructor.
The instructor definitely knew what she was teaching and is very passionate about it which I love. She always stressed the importance of learning U.S. History and didn't hesitate to correct us because she wants us to understand how important it is to properly know the content.
Awesome I loved it, I prefer face to face and zoom classes, so I really liked it mahalo for a great semester again.
Very good, she was extremely helpful this semester
Professor Compoc is superb! I love her personality! She has so much positive energy and enthusiasm when she teaches. She is also very organized and extremely knowledgeable. I could always navigate through her Laulima page with ease. I never had to go hunting for assignments or resources. If I could, I would take more classes with her!
