7.   Which aspects of the course were the least valuable?
The least valuable aspect was writing essays. However, I do find this important for our professional careers.
Meteor
none.
None
Tuesdays needed to be more interactive.
Essays, in my opinion
Nothing. Although it was annoying to do group projects, it taught me valuable things about group organization and communication for when we work on enterprise software.
Meteor is a joke and will probably not be used much longer than two or more years in the actual industry.
I liked the course nearly to the point where I could not pinpoint any faults. If anything, I wish the back-end part of creating meteor applications were thoroughly explained more, but then again, it is stated in the course's pedagogy that the students hold the responsibility to learn these themselves instead.
Everything was very useful to learn.
I think that there should have been less focus on UI design. Although I believe it is important to learn how to use it, I think we could have spent less time on that. On the final project, I felt like the lack of practice with implementing functionality into websites caused unnecessary stress.
Everything was good I thought
N/A
Not learning enough of why or how things work.
Maybe the essays but they are still valuable.
the writing assignments xd
An assignment, after learning the new material, being timed.
all good

8.   Which aspects of the course were most valuable?
I found the WODs the most valuable, even though I struggled with them a lot. I think it is important to learn how to work under pressure and it is also important to challenge yourself.
The web development
The Wods
The WODs that we did in class are really helpful.
The WODs we did every Thursday were one of the best teaching methods
Experiences and readings
The WODs.
Knowing how to make a functional website is cool and javascript/Html/CSS is very important
I think the most valuable aspect of the course was its pedagogy. The athletic training style of programming truly allows the students to get out of their comfort zones usually through repetition of assignments as well as timed in-class "WODS".
Issue driven coding, learning about how to use GitHub, and the WODs.
I believe learning semantic UI was very valuable. The WODS were also very helpful because they force students to understand the concepts.
I learned about software development.
The instructor provides detailed information for each module and explains in a clear way.
Some knowledge of the tools we learned and how to improve my coding.
Most modules because they are applicable to employment skills.
meh
Learning to deal with assignments under the pressure of a time limit.
the practices

10.   My overall evaluation of this instructor is....
Good. He answered questions when asked and exhibited great knowledge on software engineering. He frequently gave advice about ways the students could do better or other activities students should start doing to help get themselves further in school/in their careers.
Great
Great.
The instructor is really nice and helpful.
Great instructor, would prefer to take him again in the future for any other ICS classes. The TA on the other had was very poor.
Helpful and straightforward
Funny, extremely competent, and reasonable.
Moore is fantastic and I would suggest him to anyone taking this course or any course he teaches.
The instructor has fulfilled his role in guiding the students to perform well in the course. He provided the necessary tools and instructions to learn the material well.
I enjoyed learning from Professor Moore and enjoy his teaching style.
Professor Moore did an overall good job.
Great. One of the best courses I've taken at UH
The instructor is nice, he helps me a lot when I have questions or problems.
He is great, communicates effectively and knows how to solve problems.
Good.

12.   My overall evaluation of this course is...
Great. Although it was difficult, it was also great to challenge myself to learn everything in this class. I mostly enjoyed it.
Not bad
The course was great.
This course is well-organized and it helps me to gain a lot of knowledges of software development.
Great course, would take again
I enjoyed the way of doing things, experiences most nights and wods on thursday, practice on tuesday.
It was fun, informative, and very good practice for real-world software development.
It was decent however some parts are left with major voids in knowledge. It's not the professor's fault but moreover the course structure.
The course is challenging yet very fun and intuitive. It has deepened my interest in developing web applications.
I really enjoyed learning about software engineering from Professor Moore!
The style is very effective in teaching necessary concepts. I felt like I learned something from this course. My only criticism is that I believe there should have been less focus on UI design and more focus on making functional websites.
Course was very well organized. I feel like I learned a lot of useful things.
The course is great
This course is stressful and fast paced which sometimes isn't the best. Personally, I think this is a good course but I found myself copying and pasting for a good grade rather than learn the material thoroughly. I also found myself needing to go out of my way to learn somethings as the things taught in the course weren't enough to past its own tests. However, this course would be amazing if I was going to be a software engineer.
I enjoyed this class.
verr good i suppos
good!
