13. What are the instructor's major strengths as a teacher? |
||||||||||||||||||
Very good at explaining concepts. This was my favorite class this semester.
Knows his subject well, wants to make sure your doing good.
He is very knowledgeable in the subject material and when students don't understand something, he tries to elaborate on the subject in a way students can comprehend.
He made class fun, along with my classmates, it was an enjoyable time and
I actually looked forward to coming to class.
Great guy, very good personality, kept the class organized

14. What changes, if any, do you suggest to the instructor? |
||||||||||||||||||
Less lecturing? Maybe a video that shows what were looking at,
documentaries, sometimes I feel like its hard to learn the material
because it's hard to visualize it. The sall animations don't really help.
I can't think of anything he can change right now.
Nothing, just keep doing what you doing!
Our test were a heavy portion of our class grade. Maybe more pojects,
essays, participation...extra credit

15. How did the instructor show concern for students? |
||||||||||||||||||
Emailed me when I didn't turn something in, and asked why.
He always encourages students to turn in the work even if after the due date. He goes out of his way to check in with students who did not turn in their work even when it's the student's responsibility to keep track of it.
Our class size was small so we had a lot of one-on-one talks.

16. Would you recommend this instructor to students? Why or why not? |
||||||||||||||||||
yes, he's a very excellent teacher, actually cares about his students
Yes, I would because he is very passionate about his field and students can really get something out of this class if they engage in discussion and not just passively listen to the lecture.
YES! My favorite lecturer

I hope his first experience of teaching KCC students was positive and that we left a good impression for him to want to continue teaching here.
