The Mānoa Political Internship Program will place you in a top-ranked political office in Hawaiʻi or Washington DC to learn invaluable, career building skills and to refine your academic acuity. Half-time and full-time internships are available in congressional, judicial, and legislative offices and come with a scholarship to cover all relevant courses. This opportunity is open to all UH full-time students with a Junior or Senior standing and a 3.0+ GPA. Interning in a political office is advantageous for students in any major program. Applications for the internships are available on STAR, using search terms: • Governor B962 • Lt. Governor B963 • Hawaii State Legislature B984 •District Congressional Delegation B915 (Also open to sophomores) •Hawaii Judicial Internship B977 •U.S. Congressional Internship B985. Applications for Spring, 2025 are due on STAR October 15, 2024.
