Hawaiʻi BEAD Deployment Request for Proposal

As the Hawaiʻi BEAD Challenge Process is complete, the University of Hawaiʻi Broadband Office (UHBO) has begun the Request for Proposals (RFP) process to solicit proposals from qualified Offerors in order to select a subgrantee to build out the BEAD infrastructure.

BEAD PROJECT TIMELINE

RFP SCOPE OF WORK

Offerors shall provide reliable broadband infrastructure to ALL unserved and underserved locations, Community Anchor Institutions (CAIs) within the project area. Locations cannot be removed from the scope of work without the written approval from the UHBO.

RFP KEY DATES

The schedule of key dates set forth herein represents the best estimate of the schedule that will be followed. Any of the dates listed below may be changed at any time at the sole discretion of the RCUH Procurement Officer or Delegated Procurement Officer.

RFP DETAILS

There are a total of eight (8) Request for Proposals (RFP). All RFPs are independent of each other. Offerors should refer to UHBO’s approved Initial Proposal Volume 2 (IPV2) for details on the required information that must be included in their responses. Click on each county to access the RFPs.

Four (4) RFPs will be to build or extend infrastructure to service unserved and underserved locations in each of the four Hawaiʻi counties:
