Clearing your web browser's cache

Google Chrome

  1. Click the Chrome menu in the upper right-hand corner of the browser toolbar. (Three vertical dots)
  2. Select More tools.
  3. Select Clear browsing data.
  4. In the dialog that appears, check Cached images and files.
  5. Use the menu at the top to select select the beginning of time to clear the entire cache.
  6. Click Clear browsing data.

Firefox

  1. Click on the menu button. (Three horizontal lines in the upper right corner)
  2. Select Library, then History, then Clear Recent History....
  3. Under Time range to clear select Everything
  4. In the Details menu, ensure that Cache is checked
  5. Click Clear Now.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click on the triple dot icon in the upper right-hand corner of the window.
  2. Select Settings from the menu.
  3. Navigate to the Privacy, search, and services page using the navigation pane on the left.
  4. Under the Clear browsing data section, click Choose what to clear.
  5. In the resulting Clear browsing data window, use the Time range drop-down menu to select All time. Then, check Cached images and files.
  6. Click Clear now.

Safari

  1. Go to the Safari menu and select Preferences.
  2. Click on the Privacy tab.
  3. Click on Manage Website Data...
  4. Click on Remove All.
  5. Click Remove Now when prompted.
