Duo Device Management Portal
To manage your Duo devices, please go to the Duo Device Management Portal at https://www.hawaii.edu/its/uhlogin/device-reg. Log in with your UH Username and password.
You will need to use Duo to verify your identity before managing your devices. Please authenticate with your preferred authentication method. This should take you to the Duo Device Management Portal. You should see a list of your registered devices. This screenshot shows a sample of some registered devices.
Changing a device name
- Go to the Duo Device Management Portal
- In the square with the device that you would like to rename, click Edit.
- Click Rename.
- In the dialog, enter a new name under Device name. Click the Rename button.
- The new name should show in the square with the device. If you are done with managing your devices, you can logout of the Duo Device Management Portal.
Deleting a device
- Go to the Duo Device Management Portal.
- In the square with the device that you would like to rename, click Edit.
- Click Delete.
- In the dialog, click Delete <device name>, where <device name> is the name of your device.
- The device should disappear from your list of devices. If you are done with managing your devices, you can logout of the Duo Device Management Portal.
Reactivating the Duo Mobile app (does not apply to landlines)
If you have a new phone but have the same phone number, you need to "reactivate" the Duo Mobile app on your new phone. (If you have a new phone AND a new phone number, activate the new phone as a new device.)
- Go to the Duo Device Management Portal. If your device automatically sends a Duo Push, click Other options at the bottom. Select Phone call. Your phone will ring. Answer the call and press "1" on the keypad to approve the login and proceed.
- When it asks you to authenticate again, select Phone call. Your phone will ring. Answer the call and press "1" on the keypad to approve the login and proceed.
- In the square with the device you would like to reactivate, click I have a new phone.
- A dialog will appear. Click Get started.
- In the Confirm Ownership dialog, click Send me a passcode.
- A verification code should have been texted to you. Enter this code into the dialog and click Verify.
- If you have not already downloaded the Duo Mobile app to your new phone, download the app from the App Store or Google Play. Once you have downloaded the app to your new phone or if you already have the app downloaded to your new phone, click Next.
- You will see a barcode displayed. Open the Duo Mobile app on your phone. If you are asked if you want to allow Duo Mobile to send Notifications, please allow notifications.
Press the + icon in the upper right corner, or press on Add -> Use QR code. If you are asked if you want to allow Duo Mobile to access the Camera, please allow access.
Point your phone's camera (the camera's display should be shown on the phone's screen) at the barcode. Once the barcode is properly within the display, it will automatically be recognized. You should see Added Duo Mobile in the dialog. Click Continue. - You have now activated the Duo Mobile app on your new phone. If you are done with managing your devices, you can logout of the Duo Device Management Portal.
