Exhibition highlights
Posada (1852-1913) was Mexico's most popular and prolific print artist, whose powerful works graced hundreds of single, printed sheets that combined image, headline, and text to create a broadsheet or broadside. Almost every aspect of Mexican life was depicted in Posada's work. His goal was to educate and inform the masses. Over 100 prints from the Charlot Collection in Hamilton Library at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa are on display with an accompanying catalogue.
