The Commons Gallery, University of Hawai’i at Mānoa (UHM), is pleased to present a new work by Sara Greenberger Rafferty on view March 7 through April 11, 2021 as part of the year-long exhibition series Out of the Camera: Beyond Photography.
February 7 – May 14, 2021. The John Young Museum of Art, University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, is proud to present for the first time in Hawai’i the exhibition Dorothea Lange: The War Relocation Authority Assignment.
January 17 – February 28, 2021. The Commons Gallery, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (UHM), is pleased to present a new series by Stephanie Syjuco in a solo presentation as part of the year-long exhibition series Out of the Camera: Beyond Photography.
October 26, 2020 – January 28, 2021: This exhibition features major works of Brazilian Concrete and Process poetry and related ephemera, c. 1962-1982, drawn from the Arquivo Fernando Aguiar and the Coleção Moraes-Barbosa and shown in Hawai’i for the first time.
November 9 – December 10 , 2020: Hadi Fallahpisheh’s photographic drawings record performances made in the darkroom on large-scale light-sensitive color paper.
September 21 – October 29 , 2020: In this new work made for the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, Le Déjeuner / Mollusks on the Grass (2020), Blalock’s investigation of two sunbathing bodies riffs on Édouard Manet’s Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe (1862) while creating a portrait of leisure for our times.
