HIES (Hawai'i International Environmental Services, Inc.) was formed in 1993 to provide the business community with cost-effective and innovative solutions to environmental problems. Major contracts have included those with Chevron Products Company, Shelton Corporation and Shelly Cars, and Kamahameha Schools/Bishop Estate.
In 1994, HIES grew from two employees to five and in 1997, HIES grew from ten employees to twelve. In June 1997, HIES formed the Limited Liability Company, ENDYNE, in Huntington Beach, California. In 1998, HIES registered a branch office in Yokohama, Japan.
HIES has established excellent professional working relationships with key regulatory, legal, and government personnel in Hawaii including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Navy, the U.S. EPA and the State of Hawaii Department of Health.Bioremediation Services Provided
