Office of the Board of Regents
The affairs of the University of Hawaii fall under the general management and control of the Board of Regents. The board formulates policy and exercises control over the university through its executive officer, the university president. The board has exclusive jurisdiction over the internal structure, management and operation of the university.
The University of Hawaii Board of Regents also serves as the State Board for Career and Technical Education.

Advisory Task Group on Operational and Financial Controls Improvement
The Advisory Task Group “ATG” was established by the Board of Regents to oversee, provide input, monitor activities, and guide the scope of an evaluation and improvement initiative specific to operational and financial processes and related internal controls of the University of Hawaii.
