Introduction to Social Media with Tara Coomans

December 31, 2:00pm - 2:00pm
Mānoa Campus, Krauss 12

What is social media and why is everyone saying it‘s revolutionized communication? Who is really using these tools (the answers may surprise you!) and what are practical uses for our life and business? This is a great introduction to social media, if you’re just starting out or curious about whether social media is right for your business. Included in the course are case-study examples of businesses using social media, and stats on social media usage for marketing.

Tara Coomans is a marketing strategist specializing in social media. She is also on the Board of Directors of Social Media Club International and a committee member on the Sentiment Subcommittee of Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA).
