March 18, 2013 - March 22, 2013Harold L. Lyon Arboretum 3860 Manoa Road Honolulu, HI 96822
Instructors: Lyon Education Staff: Jill Laughlin, Richard Sears, and Reiko Trow
Five full days of hands-on, minds-on activities at the Lyon Arboretum. We’ll do lots of hiking, explore stream habitats, learn about the Mānoa water- shed, island ecosystems, and our effects on the ocean, do photography and art, create rain chains, learn about Hawaiian culture and do some gardening science. This is a great opportunity for kids who love the outdoors, and those who’d like to learn more about Hawaii’s natural history. For children currently in grades 1-5.
