Join our elite garden guides group at Lyon, and help share your Aloha with garden visitors. Learn about the Arbo- retum and its collections, history and mission. This series of 5 classes is for those committed to becoming a gar- den guide at Lyon Arboretum. Classes will include both indoor and outdoor sessions. Classes cover plant conser- vation, Hawaiian natural history, Hawaiian ethnobotany, and the Arboretum’s special gardens and collections. All participants will be expected to guide garden tours at the Lyon Arboretum after completion of the classes.
